Earn While You Learn Institute Application Will be Online February 27 2006


Just a quick reminder. There will be a meeting for teachers interested in applying for EWYL on Feb. 27 at 4:30 p.m. at the KCI. Please click on this link to download a PDF flyer about this program. You must be a credentialed teacher and have completed 2 units of LINC classes within the past year (thought March 31, 2006) in order apply for this program. Applications are competitive.

Technology Tips is a presentation that presents strategies for using technologies most schools already have (Microsoft Word, KidPix, Inspiration, etc.) along with other free resources, as powerful tools for differentiating instruction. You will learn to make text talk, to find sources of digital text, including historical documents and literature; to enhance text with graphic or semantic supports; and learn why graphic organizers are such powerful tools.

It is aimed at elementary and middle school teachers who have a working knowledge of word and the Internet.
