February 4 LINC FastTech Classes

We have limited space left in the following three LINC classes this Saturday:

1. LINC 209.01 DreamWeaver with Flash Learning Objects
This course teaches the student how to create an eLearning site that incorporates quizzes, simulations, and learning games using Macromedia CourseBuilder and a learning site created using Dreamweaver software. The learner will also create an interface for an eLearning site using Macromedia's Fireworks software. The objective of the course is to introduce the educator to computer aided instruction and its application in the classroom.
Who Should Take This Course
This course is designed for educators who want to expand their knowledge of computer aided instruction and its application in the classroom. The learner should have a basic knowledge of computers and some familiarity with basic computer applications.
At the end of this course the student will be able to:
Create a homepage using Fireworks software.
Create site navigation using Fireworks software.
Create content pages using a Dreamweaver template.
Create a CSS stylesheet.
Create a learning site using Dreamweaver.
Create quizzes, simulations and learning games using the
CourseBuilder extension in DreamWeaver.

2. LINC 256S.01 Introduction to iPhoto
This class will cover how to use the creative digital imaging software that is part of the iLife suite of applications. Use iPhoto to organize your digital images, and then edit them. And finally learn to share your photos using email, create photo slide shows, create photo books and much more!

The fees are $17 for 1 CEU and $8.50 for 1/2 CEU unit plus a one time per quarter registration fee of $11 for people not already registered in Winter Quarter classes here at Foothill. Parking is $2.00--It is best to bring 8 quarters.

3. LINC 230T01 PhotoShop II THIS CLASS IS NEARLY FULL! It will be at the Krause Center for Innovation
Work though projects that you can take home and use with your students! Create vignettes, collage, and montage with flawless selecting and layering techniques, apply special effects with filters, make your own patterns, how to work with text and add text effects.
